ICARUS, a band from Antwerp (Belgium), was founded in 2006. In the beginning, the band played solid rock with influences from punk rock and hardcore, a scene in which most of the band members have their roots.

At the end of 2006, they played their first gig … the crowd went wild! In 2007 and 2008 they did dozens of shows and recorded a couple of demos, on which you can definitely hear a shift in sound and genre. They continued their pursuit of an own and strong identity in 2009 and, after a very promising pre-production, they locked themselves in the studio in December to record their first full-album: “MEET MY CELLAR DOOR”.

This brings ICARUS to where they are now: five young men who know what they want, with a mature and mind-blowing sound that’s best described as rock without compromises, with strong influences from the ‘70s and without ever sounding outdated.
