Dirty Vicky, at first a side-project of Lange (lead vocals) and Davve (guitar, backings), grew out to be a full band in 2009, backed by Zsenom (bass), Sander (drums). In 2010 they welcomed Boris on guitar, thickening the sound and adding some extra psychedelica.

Their music brings an ode to the imaginary Dirty Vicky, a creature stuck between beauty and vulgarity, the primitive and the sophisticated, which translates in greasy roots rock intertwined with an inclination to chanson, spiced with a hint of festive tragedy. Combining elements from diverse musical influences, the band started recording the first songs from the so-called Neverending Album in 2009, which up till now resulted in a variety of songs, ranging from slide blues over folk ballad to poppy rock. Not yet interested in recording a full album, they’ll continue to record songs as they come along, releasing them online for anyone to make his or her own selection.
