a modern Brian Wilson, the illegitimate child of Elton John and Donald Fagan (Steely Dan), Godley and Creams younger brother The trademarks of the BUNNY experience are beautiful introspective songs laced with a 70 pop sound.
Artist History
London based singer-songwriter Bunny got his first break (his shoulder to be more precise) when he got an insurance pay off following a motorbike accident on Westminster Bridge. He used the money to buy himself some recording equipment and started producing his own songs. His demos got a great response from people in the industry. One of these was producer Ian Grimble (Travis, Manic Street Preachers and Texas) who offered to record some tracks in his studio. In the autumn of 2005 Bunny hooked up with friend and producer Anthony Whiting (M.I.A., Zero7) to record some more songs. These collaborations resulted in the album Play to My own Tune.
Not for BUNNY the artificial detachment and generic coolness of many of his contemporaries. This album positively places itself at the other end of the spectrum with its acutely personal, mostly autobiographic and unashamedly emotional contents. Underneath the complex arrangements and layered vocals lie dreamy, beautifully crafted pop songs. At his studio in the former Stock Aitken and Waterman Hit Factory (the spiritual home of Kylie and Jason) Bunny also produces and writes for other acts.
The unfeasibly tall BUNNY with all of his 196cm will not go unnoticed when he lands on a stage near you.
